We built the brand strategy around technology, but for Arternal to truly stand out against competition, we firmly positioned the brand using their unique insider knowledge of the art marketplace and strong relationships with dealers and galleries.
Arternal’s founders and team are a diverse group who share a deep love for the art world. They are front and center with their audience. We knew almost immediately, that for the brand to be authentic and well positioned for growth, the strategy needed to support people and their values as well as the product.

The brand’s mission is to ease pain-points and satisfy the needs of galleries, auction houses and collectors. We reflected this mission in the UX and design of the site. Taking visual cues from the art world rather than fitting the mold of traditional SaaS sites, the site comes to life through a refreshing color palette and unique shapes which highlight people and art.
The site was designed “mobile-first” with an important purpose in mind: make it simple and user-friendly. In doing so, we helped actualize the brand’s promise of automating workflow and freeing the art world from the constraints of physical space.
